Founded in 1988 as a non-profit 501(c)(3), Mission:Wolf is an educational nature center and wolf sanctuary in the remote Colorado Wet Mountains. All merchandise for sale directly supports our mission of animal care, sustainability, and education. Currently, volunteer staff live on a 3 acre community adjacent to 50 acres of fenced in land for our animals. Volunteers are responsible for the daily care and long term maintenance of Mission:Wolf. Each year thousands of dollars go into building, road, path, vehicle, and fence maintenance. Thousands more feed our animals and staff. Mission:Wolf also has $150,000 in land debt to support over 300 acres in land conservation.
We are constantly striving to maintain and improve what we have. As our education program expands, we are always looking for more efficient ways to reach the public. With your help, we are able to be successful both here at the refuge and out on the road with our traveling ambassador program.
For us, every little bit helps! Whether you donate a few dollars or a few hours of helping hands, we appreciate your generosity and support!
